Luxury sculptural
studies for sporting
emblem identities....
Insignia is a sculptural exploration of contemporary sporting emblems through classical modelling and hand-laid 24ct gold leaf.
Each prototype study is meticulously cast with optical clarity, with the emblem modelled in negative relief to create depth, light play and stunning presence.
The current works are conceptual prototypes only, created to demonstrate the craft potential and emotional power of such sculptures. They are not commercial products and are not licensed by any club.
"For me to wear an England badge would have always been enough... when I put this badge on I feel 10 times taller."
Leah Williamson (Arsenal & England)
Insignia studies the form of modern sporting crests through sculptural modelling, clear substrate casting and traditional gilding techniques.
Each piece is an artistic prototype - handcrafted to explore how the badge might be expressed as fine art...
